Prowine is going to China!

Demand for quality Australian “New World Wines” have been increasing rapidly in China over the past few years. Wine industry media is full of positive reports such as comments by Andrew Caillard MW, The fine wine specialist for Woolworths Liquor and co-founder of Langton’s wine auctions, thinks there is definitely big opportunities for top end / boutique Australian wines. Australian wineries should make their move in attempts to take a share in the Chinese wine market.

Prowine have also noticed a steady increase in the numbers of clients who are bottling their bulk wine to export into China. With this in mind Prowine has decided to visit China in May to explore opportunities at the ‘International Wine Industry Expo 2015’ on the 8-10th of May in Shanghai and the ‘Interwine 2015’ on the 10-12th May in Guangzhou.

The purpose of the trip is multi faceted but essentially is a proactive move to make our presence known, bring Prowine’s name into the Chinese importing wine buyer’s mind and establish new contacts for potential business in the future. We will also promote the benefits of bottling wine in Australia (rather than importing bulk to be bottled in China) plus provide support to any of our existing clients that may be attending the shows. This is certainly exciting for Prowine and we hope we can achieve a positive outcome at the conclusion of this trip.

Please let us know if you are attending any of these shows in China so we can meet up and discuss any possible mutual benefits.
