Prowine 2017 Top Customer Lunch

This year saw the 12th instalment of our “Top Customer ” lunch, most likely being our final event.

The lunch was attended by 8 customers, Neil Oram and myself. This years event was staged at

Vintners Bar and Grill in the Barossa and was a most enjoyable day. (some photos attached here)

The food and service at Vintners was first class with a menu put together to match 3 masked

brackets of red wines, an option wine and finally a fortified. The day kicked off with a 1998 Vintage

Dom Perignon with fresh Oysters and gained momentum from there.

This years wines all came from my now significantly diminished cellar and all bar one drank beautifully

on the day. This is an event that I started at the Old Wheatsheaf restaurant in Gawler in 2006 and

I have to say it has been a great joy over the years to look at some of the top wines of the world

while also learning an incredible amount from all of those who were involved.

My thanks go out to all the customers who have attended across the years for your company and

incredible education that I have gained while enjoying my passion for great wine.
